But the [mighty] among your men should assume no airs because of that; and they should say, 'Indeed, we have believed in Allah and in what has been revealed to us and [in what has been revealed] to Ibrahim and to those [following him] before us [i.e., all Prophets] - and we and you are Muslims [i.e., in submission to Allah]; and [furthermore] we are citizens [i.e., in Allah's land] [i.e., in Allah's protection], and we write down for those who do not assume airs [i.e., for those who show humility] and do good acts an honorable mention. And, indeed, Allah is Sublime and Compelling.'” (21:73) In this verse, Allah mentions the Arabic root n-h-d reminding us of the concept of 'ar-ruh, or gentle touch, in our dealings and interactions with others.
