Al-Tabari, Ibn Abd al-Hakam and Ibn Kathir all reported that Julaybib ibn Al-Harith al-Kindi was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and a member of the Muhajirun (emigrants) who fled Mecca for Medina. He was one of the ten Muhajirun who were martyred in the Battle of Uhud in 625 AD.
