Behrouz was a Persian warrior who fought in the army of the Sassanid Emperor Khosrow II during the Byzantine-Sassanid War in the 7th century. He was renowned for his bravery and was the commander of the left wing of the Persian army during the Battle of Nineveh. After a failed Byzantine siege, Behrouz led a successful counterattack and killed the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius' brother Theodosius. However, he was later killed in the Battle of Jalula during the same war.
