Said (Allah) "But indeed, We had sent before you (O Muhammad SAW) among them a Messenger [from among themselves] [namely] from among themselves! So judge between them by what Allah had revealed and do not follow their [personal] inclinations, but beware of Allah. Indeed, this is the straight religion, but most of the people [follow nothing but sheer unadulterated shirk (disbelief) or they stand on the brink of it]: and witchcraft , and lot (drawn on arrows,etc)(4:60-65) (Sahih International translation)."
