AnsabIslamic Male Arabic name meaning

Ansab al-ashraf, or The Noble Companions, is a famous work by the medieval Islamic scholar, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. It is a comprehensive biographical dictionary that documents the lives and sayings of the Sahabah (companions of Prophet Muhammad) and their families. This work was completed in the 15th century, during the Mamluk Sultanate in Egypt.

Ansab al-Tawhid, or Signs of Unity, is a treatise by the early Islamic scholar, Imam al-Ghazali. It is a collection of short biographies of prominent Sufis who exemplified the principles of tawhid (the oneness of God) in their lives. This work was written in the 11th century during the Seljuk Empire in the Middle East.
