Abu Thabit al-Ghafari, one of the ten companions who were promised Paradise by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), was a prominent Sahabi (companion) during the early Islamic period. He was among those who embraced Islam during the Prophet's (pbuh) early mission in Mecca before the Hijra (migration) to Medina. He was also one of the Muhajirun (emigrants) who migrated to Medina with the Prophet (pbuh) in 622 AD. Abd Thabit (ra) was known for his bravery and steadfastness in Islam, and he participated in many battles alongside the Prophet (pbuh).

Abu Thabit al-Muhallabi, a companion of the fourth rightly-guided Caliph, Ali ibn Abi Talib (ra), was a prominent figure during the Battle of Siffin (657 AD). He was a supporter of Ali (ra) and was known for his piety and devotion to the cause of truth and justice. During the Battle of Siffin, Abu Thabit (ra) commanded the right wing of Ali's army. He was later martyred during the battle, becoming a Shuhada (martyr) for the cause of truth and justice.
