Derived from the Arabic word 'sayyid', meaning 'lord' or 'master'. In Islamic tradition, Sayyidah is used to address a noblewoman or a lady.
In the Quran, Sayyidah refers to several noble women, such as Sayyidatina Fatimah az-Zahra (SA), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
