Dhuha

Dhuha is an Arabic term that means "the dawn" in English. In Islamic culture, it refers to the time between the last hour of the night (adhan for Fajr) and the appearance of the sun (Fajr prayer), lasting approximately 15-20 minutes. During this time, Muslims put extra effort into their prayers and acts of worship, seeking the blessings of the early morning hours.

Dhuha is a profoundly spiritual time for Muslims as it represents the beginning of a new day from a divine perspective. The Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of making Dhuha, as it offers greater reward for only a few additional voluntary prayers. In Sufi circles, it is believed to be a sacred time for personal reflection, contemplation, and increased closeness to Allah.
