The texts were written in Sanskrit between the 7th and 12th centuries CE. The Sadhanas outline the steps for performing rituals and attaining the grace of the deity, including mantras, Yantras, and Homa procedures.

He is best known for his work 'Sadhanamala', which is a collection of works on various aspects of Advaita Vedanta, including the nature of God, the self, and the means to attain self-realization.
