6th century BCE
Kana is also known as Karna, and he is considered one of the greatest warriors in Hindu mythology. He was born out of wedlock to Kunti, one of the Pandava mothers, and was raised by the charioteer Adhiratha. Karna was a loyal friend of the Kuru king Duryodhana and fought on his side during the Mahabharata war. Despite his loyalty, Karna ultimately fought on the side of righteousness and was killed by Arjuna, one of the Pandava brothers.
