Jimmy Morrow, a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement, was often referred to as 'Jimmy' by his comrades due to his English nickname. He was born on February 17, 1905, in what is now Bangladesh. Jimmy joined the Indian National Congress in 1927 and was highly influential in organizing protests and civil disobedience campaigns in Bengal. He was also instrumental in the Quit India Movement of 1942. Jimmy was arrested multiple times for his activities and spent several years in prison. He died on December 15, 1955.
