הארולד
"Strong ruler"
The name Harold is derived from the Old English words hār and wēald. Hār means 'strong' and wēald means 'ruler'. The name was popular among the Anglo-Saxon rulers. In the 11th century, there were three Harold kings in England. Harold Godwinson, who is also known as King Harold II, was the last Anglo-Saxon king of England before the Norman Conquest.
