In 1471, she was accused of conspiring against her husband with her lover, Nikolaus of Rožmberk. She was arrested and imprisoned, but managed to escape and flee to her family's castle in Sobotka. She was later recaptured and put on trial, but was acquitted due to lack of evidence.
