Stone

The use of stones as a metaphor for strength and resilience can be traced back to many ancient cultures. In Christian art and architecture, stones are often used as a visual representation of this cultural impact. For instance, the so-called Church of All Nations on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem is built from stones brought from different parts of the world to symbolize the unity of the observant Christians.

In Christian spirituality, stones represent the foundation of our faith. The Judeo-Christian tradition associates the building of the Temple of Solomon with the phrase, "not one stone upon another, which they had left there, except it was taken become a man of other doth touch it" (1 Kings 6:7). This spiritual significance resonates with the idea that our faith is a solid foundation upon which we can build our lives.
